Auditions for Lamplighter Theatre Company’s production of “A Christmas Carol”  (Directed by Greg Wilson) will be held on Saturday October 2, 2010 from noon until 4pm and Sunday Oct. 3rd from 2pm to 6 pm. (Call backs – if determined necessary – will be on Tuesday October 5th from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. Call backs will be by invitation only.) The Auditions will be held at Springhouse Worship and Arts Center (formerly Smyrna Assembly) 14119 Old Nashville Hwy. Smyrna, TN 37167.

Performances are slated for December 10, 11, 12 and 17, 18 and 19. There is a tentative Matinee performance on the morning of Friday December 10, 2010.

We are looking for men and women – aged 16 to 76 + to make up an ensemble cast for this unique production. All cast members will be called upon to play multiple roles. There will be quite a bit of movement and action as all cast members will be onstage the entire show.

Please prepare 2 contrasting monologues no longer than 3 minutes total for both pieces. There will also be cold readings from the script. If you play an instrument (strings, banjo, woodwind, harmonica, percussion, etc.) please be prepared to bring it to your audition and play it. (Percussionists will only need sticks) You will be expected to sing a short acapella tune of your choosing as well.
